What to expect at your fitting

  1. We listen first

Every fitting starts with a conversation. Where does it hurt? What do you do all day? What are you hoping to get back to?
  2. We look at your feet

A Certified Pedorthist looks at how your feet are built, how you stand, and how you move. [Add any tools you use, such as a foot scanner or gait analysis]
  3. You try, we fine-tune

We bring out options that fit your feet and your day, and you try them on. Sometimes the answer is a new shoe. Sometimes it's an insole, a custom orthotic, or a modification to a pair you already love.
  4. No pressure

We'll recommend what will actually help, not the most expensive pair on the wall.

What to bring

  • The shoes you wear most, even (especially) the worn-out ones
  • Any insoles or orthotics you use now
  • The socks you usually wear
  • For Medicare diabetic footwear: [list the paperwork customers should bring]

How long it takes

[About how long does a typical fitting take? For example: 30 to 45 minutes. Custom orthotics appointments: about how long?]
